Family-Friendly Restaurant Reopenings in London

It’s been over 100 days since we last sat down for a family meal in a restaurant, but the wait is finally over. From 4th July many of our family-friendly favourites will be reopening their doors to serve up safe and socially distanced dining in. With nearly 70% of you revealing that you can’t wait to get back into the habit of eating out with your brood, we wanted to make picking your first plates fuss-free with our comprehensive list of family-friendly restaurants reopening from 4th July. A mix and match mezze of the Levant

Their very first Shoreditch bar and kitchen reopens on 7th July and King’s Cross flings open it’s doors on on 22nd July (Sunday to Wednesday only)

Italian Classics and Neapolitan Pizza

Book your table at Gloria and Circolo, both reopening on 4 July. Best part is – both are now fully bookable, for the first time ever. So no queuing!

Fabulously fine Indian cuisine

Book in a date night at Benares from 4th July or dine at home with Benares@Home which will still be available via Supper, Deliveroo, Just Eat and UberEats, as well as through its private delivery service, covering all areas of Greater London within the M25. 

Japanese soul food fit for families

The brilliant Bone Daddies team will be welcoming back families from 4th July. Shack-Fuyu and Flesh & Buns will also be opening this Saturday for your bao bun and broth fixes.

British dishes with an international twist
If you’ve missed your post-shopping family feasts at the Ivy Group’s sparkling Selfridges restaurant – wait no more as they re-open from 4th July.

Aussie inspired brunch and sharing plates
Both Caravan King’s Cross and their sister restaurant Vardo (King’s Road) will be opening on 4th July with ample alfresco space for families to enjoy brunch with their brood.

Authentic Portugese peri peri chicken

Launching an incredible outdoor terrace in Shoreditch as well as a cocktail takeaway hatch for big kids! Both Shoreditch, and London Bridge, will be reopening fully on the 4 July.

Vivek Singh re-opens Battersea based Cinnamon Kitchen. With the rest of the Cinnamon Kitchen family to follow suit later across July – Cinnamon Club – 10 July, Cinnamon Kitchen City – 17 July, Cinnamon Bazaar – 24 July

The wonderful Wolseley, Colbert, Brasserie Zedel and Fischer’s all reopen from 4th July from 5pm

Angela Hartnett’s Italian restaurant
The team are gearing up for reopenings later in July: Bermondsey, 15th July and St James on 21st July

If you’re looking for a little time-away treat with your other half whilst the kids are at school why not book a table with a view at Duck & Waffle, brunches in the sky start again from 6th July.

Afternoon tea at Covent Garden’s elegant tea emporium

Opening initially with reduced operating hours of 11am – 7pm, the restaurant will serve lunch and afternoon tea. Don’t forget to pick up a bag of your favourite brew to take home after teatime treats.

Seasonal Michelin starred meals

Kerth Gumbs and the team reopen for eat-in lunch and dinner from 4th July (Wednesday to Sunday). The newly launched Ormer at Home menu can also be ordered for takeaway and delivery (within 2-3 miles of the restaurant)

Acclaimed fresh pasta bar
Padella sites will be reopening – with new outside seating in the market space at Borough Market, and new al fresco seating at Shoreditch. #PadellaPastaKits are still flying out the door to be made at home.

Peruvian-inspired plates a plenty
Marylebone based Peruvian restaurant is back with waffles for brunch, pick and pix plates for lunch and divine dinners. Their Shoreditch sister reopens on 8th July.

Fresh pasta all day from Stevie Parle
Pastaio Westfield will be reopening for eat-in, delivery and takeaway meals & pasta kits from 4th July.

Traditional pasta from Simone Remoli

With restaurants in Wembley Park, Finsbury Park, Westfield Stratford and Ealing Broadway, your little ones can slurp spaghetti whilst you grab their famous lobster ravioli from 4th July.

The Italian chain has confirmed it will reopen two London restaurants – Abbey Road and Bankside on 4th July with 46 other branches reopening for dine-in across the UK on 6th July.
