Thanksgiving at Fitzrovia’s Riding House Café has always been a firm favourite of ours. Following in their big sister’s footsteps, the Rail House Café is serving up a pretty special festive feast this 28th November. Their epic feasting menu for just £40 p/p is the perfect meal to share with your loved one whilst the babysitter stays home on watch. Start proceedings with a honey-licked Ginger Pilgrim cocktail before indulging in a super-sized Thanksgiving meal including Norfolk bronze turkey laden with cornbread stuffing, maple-buttered sweet potatoes, mac and cheese, creamed corn casserole, glazed spouts and lots of boozy Calvados gravy to soak it all up. Be sure to save room for a pumpkin brûlée pie served with whipped vanilla cream.

We’re always on the search for family-friendly afternoon teas and this one is pretty special. Serving a true taste of America, The Dorchester Collection’s 45 Park Lane CUTCakes & Tea is a star-spangled tea ideal for giving thanks to ones you love. Indulge in delectable lobster Po’Boys, waygu beef sliders maple and lollipop fried chicken wings, before trying to keep tiny finger away from  PB & J Twinkies, red velvet cake pops and Devil’s chocolate cake. Bodeans
It wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without a trip to BBQ joint Bodeans. Serving up award-winning Kansas City style barbecue, their new kids menu is an authentic slice of low and slow smokehouse dishes small-style including baby back ribs, juicy chicken wings and southern style sausage and mash. With three courses and a drink for under a fiver, this affordable menu is a savvy slice of Americana in London. Top tip – sign up for the Bodean’s Q Card and kids can eat for free all weekend with a dining adult. The Breakfast Club
If you’re brood are a little older and you’re on the look out for a memorable Thanksgiving meal for the family, The Breakfast Club always comes up trumps! Three courses for an affordable £28 you can tuck into oozy grilled cheese tortillas, artichoke dip and cauliflower fritters for starters. For mains will you choose a hearty meatloaf and mash or smoked turkey and bacon stacks with sage and onion pancakes laden with gravy goodness. For those with a smidgen more space grab a slice of NY baked cheesecake and blueberries.

Biscuiteers Thanksgiving Biscuit Icing Workshop
We can always rely on Biscuiteers to sweeten up seasonal events! This Thanksgiving our favourite biscuit emporium are running a Thanksgiving Icing Workshop on Sunday 24th November for small and big kids alike. Open to kids aged 14 and upwards, you can join the Biscuiteers teams at their Notting Hill and Northcote Road icing cafes to learn the tricks of the trade, tuck into tasty biccies and leave with a beautiful tin of biscuits you’ve iced yourself. Tea, turkeys and two hours of top crafty kitchen Thanksgiving fun.

If a three course feast doesn’t tickle your fancy, then why not indulge in a lip-smacking burger by hugely popular plant-based restaurant by CHLOE. This Thanksgiving, it’s all about the aptly named Gobble Gobble burger. It’s got all the traditional American flavours, but is meat and dairy-free – lemon-caper seitan, sautéed kale, rosemary gravy, harvest stuffing and cranberry sauce sandwiches between an ingenious potato bun. Don’t forget the air baked sweet potato fries!  Every Gobble Gobble burger bought, a donation is made to dog rescue and rehoming charity All Dogs Matter.

He’s king of the Cronut and purveyor of the pies this Thanksgiving. Dominique Ansel has crafted a seasonal duo set to delight any holiday table. There’s the Extra Silky Pumpkin Pie – a delicately spiced pie is triple-strained, resulting in an extra smooth pumpkin custard, finished with a hand-crimped gingersnap crust. Crosstown Doughnuts
If you’re not one for a slice of pie, then Crosstown’s legendary doughnuts won’t disappoint with their November spiced pumpkin doughnut. Plus this baby is totally vegan! They’ve taken their popular new sourdough base, filled it with a spiced pumpkin (vegan) custard, topped it with a pumpkin glaze, and finished it with a cinnamon and pumpkin seed crumble.

Mister Ramsay is rolling out the the red, white and blue carpet this Thanksgiving at Heddon Street Kitchen. Stateside flavours are served up in platters, perfect for family feasting.
