Holly Anna Scarsella is one motivated mama. With two babes in arms – the first, her adorable daughter Sienna and the second, her coveted resortwear fashion brand – Pampelone. Dressing the likes of fellow mums Blake Lively and Gwyneth Paltrow, Holly now sees success in over 20 countries around the world with Pampelone and has even notched up a listing in Forbes 30 Under 30. A keen philanthropist and devoted mama, Holly has crafted the Mini Me collection, a miniature collection of Pampelone favourites for girls aged 2-7 years old. All proceeds of Mini Me sales go direct to the mothers2mothers charity – a leader in the global efforts to end paediatric AIDS and create healthy families.
When Holly’s not putting pen to paper sketching out new collections, she loves nothing more than making memories with her daughter and exploring family-friendly eats around town. Here she shares her little black book of child-friendly cafes and restaurants…
1. I’d like a table for…
As many as possible. I love relaxed environments at which my friends and family can all go with our children and not have to worry about noise / mess etc.
2. Early-birds catch the coffee at…
Brew Cafe on Northcote Road. Full of tired parents pre 7am after the strongest coffee known to man.
3. Best brunch with kids?
Pear Tree Cafe in Battersea Park. It’s right on the lake so lots of ducks etc for the kids to look at, and they do a great brunch.
4. Children’s menu must-visits…
Maze Grill on Park Walk – great options for kids and they’re very accommodating!
5. Where do you grab a bite with mums en masse?
Skylark Cafe on Wandsworth common. A lovely outside area in the Summer to grab a bite. Picnic style tables are incredibly handy when en masse.
6. Hidden gem for treating tiny ones?
The Ivy Chelsea Garden. They have great high chairs, not a kids menu per se but lots on the menu kids can eat and the staff are great with kids.
7. Best piece of advice for dining out with kids?
Prepare prepare prepare with lots of books, colouring aparatus etc. Keep them occupied as long as possible. And also relax. the more tense you are, the worse the evening tends to be.
8. Date night – takeaway or take me out?
Take me out. Any day! My favourite spot currently (minus Sienna) is Isabel in Mayfair.
9. My earliest food memory…
I spent a big amount of time growing up in the South of France so some of my fondest memories are walking with my father to the local boulangerie for fresh pastries in the morning. Or the Nem at a restaurant called Les Graniers. If you know you know.
10. Five mums, one table – who’s joining you?
I love the idea of the bad mum club (one of the funniest movies to watch now I’m actually a mum), so would be mums who like to let their hair down and don’t take themselves too seriously. Think Chrissy Tiegen, Nicole Ritchie, Blake Lively, Elsa Patakay and Kate Hudson.
INTRODUCING THE PAMPELONE MINI-ME COLLECTION

100% of the profits from the collection will be donated to mothers2mothers, whose aim is to eliminate pediatric aids in sub-Saharan Africa. In the past 15 years, mothers2mothers has helped. decrease mother to child transmission of HIV from 40% down to 2.1%, and with the help of this collaboration, aims to create a generation free from HIV.
Holly Anna Scarsella shares: ‘Our customers are intelligent women who not only care about style, but also have a strong social conscience. I just know they will love to wear this collection with their daughters, nieces, goddaughters, whilst knowing they’re giving back to such an incredible cause.’
